Locational Marginal Pricing (LMPs) are wholesale electric energy prices that reflect the value of electric energy at different utility load zones. LMPs include three core components: energy price, congestion cost and losses.
The graph below shows the historical average around-the-clock day-ahead LMPs for a variety of load zones in the PJM and MISO system areas.
