Meet the AEP Energy Field Sales Team

At AEP Energy, our goal is to do the right thing, every time, for every customer and every employee. A great customer experience is important to us, so having employees who care about the company, the community and YOU is key. That’s why our field sales Energy Advisors are our employees and not from a third-party vendor. Every AEP Energy field sales advisor knocking on doors lives and works right here in your neck of the woods.

Our Energy Advisors understand the importance of educating customers on the benefits of energy choice. The entire team also believes we have a great opportunity to represent a company who values the customer first and strives to alleviate much of the confusion regarding the difference between suppliers and utilities.

How can I tell if the person at the door is from AEP Energy?

Transparency is a big deal to everyone at AEP Energy. We take pride in who we are and the company we represent. So, our Energy Advisors are intentionally easy to identify, and will be wearing an always visible identification badge, as well as red polo shirts, khaki shorts or pants, jackets, coats, and hats complete with the AEP Energy logo.

Our polite and professional team follow a strict safety protocol and will never ask, attempt, or accept an invitation into your home and are only permitted to be out between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. unless otherwise specified by the city or community. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact AEP Energy Customer Care at 866-258-3782. All types of questions and feedback are always welcome.  If you’ve had a good experience with one of our team members, feel free to let us know here!

What should I expect if an Energy Advisor knocks on my door?

A great customer experience starts at the first moment of contact. We want every step in your journey with us to be a pleasant one. So, before any of our employees knocks on a single door, they have undergone a background check, drug test, and have been thoroughly trained about energy choice and the importance of our mission, vision and values.

The goal of our Energy Advisors is to educate our communities about the benefits of energy choice and introduce the variety of options, such as secure fixed rates and renewable products, we can provide.
