February 10th – So, here’s the deal: colder weather models over the weekend have nudged next week’s power prices higher, and gas is tagging along for the ride. March ATC power prices saw a bump of about 50 cents, as it looks like the cold snap is here to stay through the end of the month.
February 7th – Not much change in balance-of-the-month prices after the latest model runs kept the temperature outlook steady. Power prices continued their downward trend today, with traders holding off to see if February will stay below normal for the rest of the month.
