However, weak liquidation activity and continued mild temperatures are keeping pressure on power prices, even as natural gas rose by $0.24 today.Friday January 9 - Warmer trends in the January forecast prompted a market sell-off heading into the weekend. Both natural gas and term power declined sharply today as weather projections remain mild to relatively warm.
