Monday, October 20 – Natural gas prices declined following an EIA report showing an 80 Bcf storage build, in line with expectations. Power prices, after several days of declines, found support amid the onset of outage season and forecasts for above-normal temperatures.
Friday, October 17 – Gas and power opened the week stronger as updated weather models added heating demand in the 6–15 day outlook. The November gas contract rose nearly 40 cents, lifting term power prices as well.
