March 17th – Natural gas prices decreased today, hitting the lows after midday model runs lost heating degree days following a cooler weekend. Meanwhile, power prices increased, driven by auction activity for Duquesne today and Duke tomorrow.
March 14th – Natural gas held steady, not much movement there. But power prices increased due to real-time liquidations. Balday and next day power prices dropped, influenced by weak liquidations and a surge in renewable generation. Natural gas stayed flat.
