On Friday, October 31, 2025, AEP Energy mistakenly submitted drop requests for active participants in the Community Natural Gas Aggregation Program. The local gas utility, Duke Energy Ohio, sent communications notifying participants that their natural gas supply service would end with AEP Energy, their natural gas supply provider, and that their account would be returned to standard service with the local gas utility. If you received this notification, please disregard it.

AEP Energy submitted requests to rescind the drops on Monday, November 3, 2025. You will continue to participate in your community’s natural gas aggregation program with AEP Energy as your natural gas supply provider and stay on your community’s natural gas aggregation rate of $0.6499 per Ccf until your October 2026 meter read date.
