If I already have a Prime membership, can I extend it with this offer?
If you already have a Prime membership, you can extend your existing membership for one year with this offer.

Who is eligible for the AEP Energy Perks Plan?  
Currently, the Perks Plan is available for new residential electricity customers in the Dayton Power & Light, Duke Energy Ohio, FirstEnergy Ohio (Toledo Edison, Ohio Edison, and Illuminating Company), AEP Ohio (limited to Field Sales channel only), Atlantic City Electric (ACE), Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), PECO, Penelec, Duquesne Light Company, West Penn Power, Met-Ed, and PPL Electric service areas. AEP Energy reserves the right to make future changes in the eligibility for this plan.

I am already an AEP Energy customer. How can I enroll in the Perks Plan? 
At this time, only new residential electricity customers are eligible for the Perks Plan.

Why do I need to provide my e-mail address in order to participate in this special offer?
Once your enrollment in the Perks Plan is accepted by the local utility and any applicable rescission periods have passed without rescission, the claim code to activate or extend your Prime membership will be sent to the email address you provided during the enrollment process.

When will I receive my Prime membership?
You will receive an email with a claim code (16-digits long) for Prime within approximately 2-4 days after your enrollment in the Perks Plan is accepted by the local utility and any applicable rescission periods have passed without rescission. Where can I redeem my claim code for my one-year Prime membership?
Once you have received your claim code for Prime, go online to www.amazon.com/redeemprime to redeem your claim code for a new one-year Prime membership or extend your current Prime membership for an additional year.

Does the claim code for Prime have an expiration date?
Yes, the claim code for Prime will have an expiration date of approximately two years from the point of issue. The exact date will be highlighted in the email that contains the claim code.

Who should I contact if I haven’t received my email with my claim code within the specified timeframe?
To check the status of your claim code, please contact an AEP Energy Customer Care Specialist toll-free at 1-866-258-3782.

If I decide to cancel my electricity agreement with AEP Energy before the end of its term, will my Prime membership stop working? 
You can continue to enjoy the benefits of your Prime membership. However, there will be a $99 early cancellation fee in Ohio, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania if you decide to cancel your electricity agreement with AEP Energy before the end of its term. There will be a $50 early cancellation fee in Illinois if you decide to cancel your electricity agreement with AEP Energy before the end of its term.
