AEP Energy is responsible for purchasing power that is added to the power grid in an amount equivalent to your business' or home's electricity use. Electricity customers served by AEP Energy are supplied by residual power purchased from local regional transmission organizations. We report fuel sources and emissions data from each local regional transmission organization to its customers quarterly, allowing customers to compare data in their state and utility territory.
Environmental disclosure statements detail the known sources of electricity generation and the amount of certain emissions attributable to these known sources of generation.
